Of course, February is Black History Month and it’s also known as the month of love. So, because I love love and I love good music, I’ve decided to dedicate this month to some of my favorite songs about, yeah, you guessed it… love.
Today, on the first day of the month, I’m kicking off 28 Days of Love with a song I dedicated to my best friend’s niece back when she was born. It’s such a beautiful song and personifies the love that can be shown for anyone. Produced by the legendary George Duke and written by Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil, it’s “Black Butterfly” by Deniece Williams. Let’s GO!!!
