OK. I get it. Trust me, I do. But if we’re being honest, it’s time. To forgive and forget. To let bygones be bygones. To move forward and allow some grace. Yes, Chrisette Michele made a questionable call by agreeing to perform at one of Drumpf’s inauguration events. Besides the cash, there was really no excuse for it.
However, it’s been five years since that occured, with the only thing being harmed being her career. She’s taken her dings. Her reprimands. Her punishment. She’s also appeared on different platforms acknowledging the faux pas and has wondered what it will take to be removed from the canceled list. Welp… it’s time. For us to bring Ms. Michele back into the Black delegation, and to re-introduce ourselves to the magic her voice box makes. Her tone was incredible before, and that hasn’t changed. At all.
This isn’t even a hot take at this point. It’s just the right thing to do.
